Ambient Sounds
The Sensory Readable toolbar offers a variety of sensory ambient sounds that can be played while using Readable. The volume of the ambient sound adjusts automatically, with a lower volume when Readable is speaking and a higher volume when there is no speech. This allows you to listen to text with Readable, and when it stops speaking, the ambient sound resumes at its previous level. This sensory focus feature is available in Readable Suite V2.5 or later. Update earlier versions to add this feature.
You can select your preferred ambient sounds in the Readable Settings under the Ambient Sound tab.
The screenshot above shows the 4 areas of the Ambient setting tab.

2. The Ambient background sound volume to use when Readable is speaking to provide audio balance.
3. The Ambient Sound volume to use when Readable is not speaking.
4. A preview button that enables you to hear the settings along with the currently selected voice.
