Set Tint Above/Below Ruler

You can change the colour or tint for the area above and below the Ruler by clicking the colour icon . This can also be referred to as the “Background Colour”.

This will reveal the colour change options, presenting the different ways to choose a colour. This includes the ability to input custom colour settings.

Here are the 5 choices for setting the Above/Below the Ruler strip colour and tint. The opacity level can be varied also with the slider in each. The same colour/tint can be set for above and below, the colour tint cannot be different between above and below the ruler.
