Touching the screen creates a spinning flow colours and effects, that will roll around with your fingers. We call them “swirls”.
Click or tap the button and the app will launch, filling the screen or window.
One the app fills the window, you can maximise the window to full screen and the app will run as full screen.
Press ESC key or click/tap the X button to close the app.
Advisory – Please be aware this app has some strong circulating images and colour effects.
How to Use
After app launch by tapping the above button/icon, click the splash screen to start the app. Touching the screen creates a spinning flow colours and effects, that will roll around with your fingers. We call them “swirls”. It is multi touch so you can create some unique patterns and flows. The effects can be triggered and controlled with 4 silver buttons. Swirls will automatically be created on the background whilst the app waits for a touch.
- Button 1 generates two new randomly placed swirls. Repeat pressing creates a cool mix effect. You can also control Button 1 using an external keyboard 1 or Space Bar, or a bluetooth switch that generates a space/1 character.
- Button 2 fires new swirls each one with a different “swirl speed” and distance. Swirls will automatically be created on the background whilst the app waits for a touch. You can also control Button 2 using an external keyboard 2 or Enter/Return key, or a bluetooth switch that generates a Return or 2 character.
- Button 3 fires new swirls, each one a different color and a different spin rate, and links with button 2 effects. Again, rapid pressing produces unusual and creative effects. You can also control Button 3 using an external keyboard 3.
- Button 4 produces different spacing for the swirls, and links with button 2 and 3 effects. You can also control Button 4 using an external keyboard 4.
- To remove/show the silver buttons, press button 5 on the keyboard.
Make sure your Windows PC, or Apple Mac has either the Google Chrome Browser or new Microsoft Edge Chromium Browser installed. Your Chromebook will already have the Chrome browser. Below we use our SandBox app as an example, which applies to all our apps.
Click the app icon above, whilst using Chrome or Edge browser, which will open and launch the Sensory App in a new browser tab
Look for the “Install” button (+ or ↓) that appears in the browser address bar, in top right area of the screen. Press this Install button and the installer pop-up will appear. See the examples screenshots below on Chrome and Edge browsers on a Mac.

You will find the Sensory app icon added to your desktop or programs list/folder. Once installed the app does not require a web connection, and will run large screen on launch from the app icon.

Click the app icon above using the Safari browser, which will open and launch the Sensory App in a new Safari browser tab/window. The app will launch and run.
Press the Share icon (
) and you can add the Sensory app icon to the Home Screen.
Once installed on an iOS device, the app may require a web connection (depends on the device), and will run large screen on launch from the app icon. We recommend holding the device in landscape orientation for most Sensory Apps, for the best experience.

Click the app icon or the install link in Chrome Android browser, which will open and launch the Sensory App in a new Chrome browser tab. The app will launch and run.
Press the Action Menu (3 vertical dots) 
and you can install the App from this menu.
Once installed the app does not require a web connection, and will run large screen on launch from the app icon. We recommend holding the device in landscape orientation for most Sensory Apps, for the best experience.
