How to Use FirstPaint
FirstPaint is an early painting app. You can paint by touch, using a mouse or an Xbox controller. You start by choosing the type of painting from the 4 options, then move through the 25 or some outlines and choose one to colour. The start setting for colour is to “fill in” the blank areas. If you want to change the colour, select from the palette. The paint line thickness changes for each of the 4 different modes, thinner for the templates containing more images. After painting is completed, you can press the animate button to see the three different effects. If you would like, screenshot the finished work and print/share from your photos app.
FirstPaint is ideal first digital painting app, that can also be used with an XBox Controller or Microsoft Adaptive Controller with a joystick. The joystick moves the onscreen cursor, A selects/deselects painting.
